Industry Standard for Credibility

Credibility, traceability, accountability, and sustainability are the cornerstones of the fish processing industry. Recognizing their importance, the European Fishmeal and Fish Oil Producers (EFFOP) have collaborated to establish the first European industry standard for draining and weighing unsorted pelagic landings intended for fishmeal and fish oil production.

Development of the Industry Standard

This separation ensures impartiality and maintains a clear distinction between the weighing operator and the buyer.
