Exploring the Impact of Cormorants on Fisheries and Ecosystems: Hybrid Seminar Invitation

As a member of BSAC, EFFOP is pleased to share an opportunity for all stakeholders in fisheries and ecosystem management. The Fisheries Information Centre of the Estonian Marine Institute of the University of Tartu invites you to attend the hybrid seminar “The impact of cormorants on fisheries and ecosystems”, taking place on 26 November 2024 at the Radisson Collection Hotel in Tallinn, Estonia, and online via Worksup.

This seminar will delve into scientific reviews on the impact of cormorants on both marine and freshwater fish populations, as well as the broader ecosystem. It is particularly relevant for coastal fishermen, fishery entrepreneurs, ornithologists, scientists, and authorities in the fisheries sector.

Participation is by invitation for on-site attendance, but the event will be available online for all interested (click here). Simultaneous interpreting between Estonian and English will be provided.
