Baltic Sea: ICES Publishes Advice for 2026 Fishing Opportunities

The International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) has published its advice on fishing opportunities for 2026 for the Baltic Sea stocks. EFFOP is an observer in ICES.

The advice provides key figures for several important fish stocks in the Baltic Sea. Below is an overview of the ICES advice for 2026, alongside previous years’ advice and Total Allowable Catches (TACs) for comparison. All advice is in accordance with the EU multiannual plan (MAP) for the Baltic Sea.
